Forbes recently unveiled its much anticipated list of the World’s Billionaires for 2024, showcasing a remarkable surge in Indian representation. The 2024 Forbes list featured a record-breaking 200 Indian entries, marking a significant rise from the 169 featured the previous year.

As per the list, Indian billionaires collectively amassed a staggering $954 billion, reflecting a 41% surge in wealth compared to the previous year’s figures. Mukesh Ambani leads the pack with a net worth of $116 billion, securing his position as the first Asian to join the coveted $100 billion club.

Notably, Gautam Adani emerged as the second richest Indian on the list, with a fortune of $84 billion, followed by business stalwarts like Savitri Jindal and Shiva Nadar.

25 New Indian Debutants

Ramesh Kunhikannan, founder of Kaynes Technology, also made a notable entry with a net worth of $1.2 billion, showcasing India’s prowess in the technology sector.
