The German National Tourist Office (GNTO) India has concluded its major 2025 four-city roadshow spanning Delhi, Bengaluru, Chennai, and Mumbai from November 17–20. Each event drew over 120 travel agents, signalling the country’s growing importance as one of Germany’s strongest outbound markets.

 

The multi-city roadshow brought together leading global tourism partners—including Lufthansa Group, Rail Europe, Visit Berlin, and Value Retail—to present Germany’s expanding portfolio of travel experiences to India’s travel trade.

 

India continues to be a vital market for Germany, with 650,000 overnight stays by Indian visitors recorded till September 2025, placing the country among Germany’s top three European destinations for Indian travellers. The average stay has also increased to 9.6 days, underscoring a rising preference for immersive and experiential travel.
