Berlin is preparing once again for one of the biggest events in the global technology calendar. IFA Berlin 2025, the world’s largest trade show for consumer and home electronics, will run from September 5 to 9 at the iconic Messe Berlin exhibition grounds. The event promises a packed lineup of product launches, live demos, networking sessions, and entertainment, drawing the attention of industry leaders, tech enthusiasts, and families alike.
Organizers say the 2025 edition places a strong focus on accessibility, inclusivity, and visitor comfort, ensuring that both professionals and private visitors can fully experience the tech spectacle.
“IFA 2025 is about more than technology—it’s about making innovation accessible for everyone, from trade professionals to families,” organizers said in a statement.
Major Tech Players Return to Berlin
Some of the biggest global brands—Samsung, Sony, LG, Bosch, Electrolux, TCL, Hisense and more—are set to unveil their latest innovations. Visitors can expect immersive displays of artificial intelligence, sustainable appliances, smart home devices, cutting-edge entertainment systems, and futuristic concepts.
From AI-enabled wearables to next-gen televisions and mobility solutions, the expo floor is designed to give attendees a first-hand glimpse into the future of everyday living.
What’s New in 2025: Revamped Visitor Experience
IFA has revamped its ticketing and access structure this year to improve crowd management and inclusivity.
Private Visitors: Entry begins Friday, September 5, from 12:00 to 18:00, and continues full-day access from September 6–9 (10:00 to 18:00). Families, school groups, and guests with disabilities will have extended access and support.
Trade Visitors: Professionals and media gain early entry from 8:00 via Messe Süd, with halls opening at 9:30. A dedicated Trade Visitor Lounge is available for networking.
Tickets are already available via the IFA ticket portal, with flexible options to suit different visitor needs.
The IFA App: Digital Guide for Attendees
To streamline the experience, organizers are pushing the IFA App as an essential navigation tool. Available on the App Store and Play Store, the app allows visitors to:
Access detailed maps of Messe Berlin
View exhibitor lists and product zones
Plan customized schedules
Use matchmaking services for B2B networking
The app is expected to be a key tool in helping attendees maximize their time across multiple exhibition halls.

Looking Ahead
IFA Berlin 2025 is expected to be more than just a tech exhibition. With AI, 5G, smart living, and sustainability dominating the discourse, the fair will serve as a global barometer for the future of consumer electronics.
“We are at an inflection point technologically and geopolitically. IFA 2025 will be the place to see how consumers react to innovation across categories and regions,” an organizer noted.
The big questions remain: Will AI hype slow down? Will foldable phones get more radical? Could 6G make a surprise appearance? For now, all eyes are on Berlin in September.
