Indian professionals, entrepreneurs, and business leaders came together for the Annual Business Meet of the India Business Forum (IBF) on 16 May, reinforcing the deepening commercial and technological ties between India and Germany.

Organized by the Consulate General of India in Frankfurt in collaboration with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Frankfurt am Main (IHK Frankfurt), the meet served as a vital networking and knowledge-sharing platform.
In his welcome address, Dr. Jürgen Ratzinger, CEO of IHK Frankfurt, commended the Indian business community for its contributions to strengthening bilateral trade and economic partnerships.
India’s Economic Momentum and Cross-Sectoral Partnerships
Consul General B. S. Mubarak emphasized India’s robust economic growth and rapid technological advances. He pointed to the broadening Indo-German cooperation in sectors such as science and technology, manufacturing, education, skill migration, and mutual investments, describing India as a dynamic partner in global innovation and trade.
Industry Leaders Share Insights and Launch New Initiatives
Krishna Javaji, Founder and Chairman of CuraPersonal GmbH & Co. KG, reflected on his company’s role in the German mobility sector. Together with Sanjeev Korada, CSO & Board Member, he introduced Impacteers, a new platform designed to bridge the gap between job seekers and employers, while supporting companies in sourcing skilled professionals.
Strengthening Financial and Academic Linkages
Devdutta Panda, Country Head for Germany at ICICI Bank, delivered a detailed presentation on the bank’s financial services and connectivity initiatives that support bilateral investment and business operations.
Academic-industry collaboration also featured prominently. Dr. Christa Larsen (IWAK) and Dr. Kasturi Dadhe (FRM GmbH) spoke about a pilot project launched by six public universities to match students with career opportunities in emerging businesses.
India’s Role in the Future of Tech and AI
Bhuwan Agrawal, Managing Director of TCS Deutschland GmbH, shared insights into emerging trends in artificial intelligence and highlighted India’s central role as a global technology leader, particularly in digital transformation and innovation.

The event concluded with new IBF members presenting their businesses. It provided a vibrant space for Indian-origin entrepreneurs and professionals to connect, share experiences, and explore new opportunities in Germany’s evolving business landscape.
