The performance comes alongside stable global financial results for the group, which said its overall numbers reflect “strong key financial figures” that “underscore stability and future viability.”

Automotive segment anchors India business

Freudenberg India’s growth continues to be driven by its automotive business, which accounts for a major portion of its revenue.

The company supplies a range of components including sealing technologies, filtration systems, vibration control products and high-performance materials across two-wheelers, passenger vehicles and commercial vehicles.

Demand from the automotive sector has remained steady, even as the industry undergoes a gradual transition towards electric mobility and more efficient systems.

India part of global manufacturing network

Freudenberg’s India operations form part of its wider global manufacturing and supply chain network, which spans automotive, industrial and materials segments.

German companies have maintained a strong presence in India’s engineering and manufacturing sectors, with India increasingly serving as both a production base and a demand market.

Freudenberg’s footprint in India reflects broader trends within Indo-German economic cooperation, particularly in automotive components and industrial technologies.

Commenting on the India business, G. Sivasailam, Director & CEO, Freudenberg Regional Corporate Center India and Managing Director – Freudenberg Performance Materials India, said, “For Freudenberg group, India continues to be a strategic market with a strong focus on scale, innovation and opportunity. He added, “We are keen to expand our presence through targeted investments, advancing innovation in high-impact sectors, and building future-ready solutions.”

Sivasailam further noted that evolving technologies and sustainability trends are shaping the company’s approach. “We cannot but ignore the advancements of AI along with evolving customer needs and sustainability imperatives, we are committed to contributing meaningfully to India’s industrial and economic progress,” he said.

Diversified operations support stability

Freudenberg India operates across multiple sectors, including automotive, industrial applications and performance materials, with manufacturing facilities spread across key industrial regions.

Its diversified business structure has helped maintain stable performance, even as global markets face volatility and demand fluctuations.

Outlook

The company indicated that its India operations remain aligned with its broader global strategy, supported by demand across automotive and industrial segments.

India continues to remain part of Freudenberg’s key international markets as the group navigates evolving global supply chain dynamics.
