Dr Heinisch Agro Solutions India Pvt Ltd (HAS) said on 5 November 2026 that its nano copper fertiliser, AgroCuprum, had received registration in Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Karnataka and Rajasthan.
The product uses technology developed by Germany’s B+H Solutions GmbH. HAS, its exclusive Indian partner, is building a dealer and distributor network in the four states, according to a company statement reported by PTI.
Distribution and farmer outreach
Rajni Rana, Managing Director of HAS, said the company would focus on reaching farmers through dealers and field demonstrations while pursuing registrations in additional states.
HAS said it provides crop-specific application guidance for tomato, chilli, capsicum, cucumber and pomegranate. It also advised farmers to establish whether crops need copper through soil or tissue testing before treatment.
The announcement does not establish when each state registration was issued. Copies of the registration documents were not available for independent verification in the sources reviewed for this report.
German technology behind the product
B+H Solutions describes its technology as aqueous fertilisers containing metal nanoparticles. Its website identifies Elmar Buder and Prof. Dr. Martin Heinisch as the developers of the concept, for which it says a European patent was granted in 2019.
In the latest announcement, Dr Martin Heinisch, Managing Director of HAS and Chief Executive Officer of B+H Solutions, said the company’s focus was on precise application and supplying crops with the copper they require.
India–Germany agricultural technology link
The announcement adds an agricultural input to the range of German technologies being marketed in India through local partners. For HAS, the next stage is expanding distribution and demonstrating the product under local farming conditions. Independent field evidence would be needed to assess its performance and cost compared with existing treatments.
