A high-level business delegation from the German Business Group (GBG), Bengaluru, visited Technopark, Thiruvananthapuram, to assess investment and collaboration opportunities within Kerala’s thriving IT sector.

During their visit, the 12-member delegation held discussions with Technopark CEO Col Sanjeev Nair (Retd.), who provided an in-depth overview of the state’s IT landscape and Technopark’s milestones. The interaction highlighted Kerala’s growing appeal as a technology hub for global businesses.
Col Nair emphasized Technopark’s commitment to integrating technology with ecological sustainability, ensuring balanced development. He noted that Kerala has been at the forefront of socio-economic advancements and offers an ideal ecosystem for businesses, backed by strong infrastructure, a skilled workforce, and excellent connectivity.
Cost-Effective and Investor-Friendly IT Hub
Underscoring the cost advantages, Col Nair pointed out that operating expenses at Technopark are 30% lower compared to Tier-I cities, making it an attractive proposition for investors. He also assured the delegation that significant investments are underway in Thiruvananthapuram and that Technopark facilitates a seamless investment process by coordinating resources effectively.
In response to queries from the delegation, the CEO elaborated on the single-window clearance system and the availability of land for potential investors at Technopark.
